Gerontology Institute Distinguished Speaker to Discuss Reframing Aging

Rhoda Meador, PhD., recently appointed Director of the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute, will be the Institute’s Fall 2011 Distinguished Speaker on Thursday, November 3. The talk, “Reframing Aging: Older People as Community Assets,” will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall.

Prior to her position at the College, Meador worked at Cornell University for 15 years, most recently as the Associate Director of Extension and Outreach for the College of Human Ecology, as well as the Associate Director, Bronfenbrenner Life Course Center.
