Food for Thought is joining thousands of students across the country to sell tie-dye cupcakes, generously donated by Purity Ice Cream, in a grassroots fundraising movement that will drastically improve individual girls’ lives in the developing world.
Visit http://www.icfoodforthought.webs.com to pre-order tie-dye cupcakes. Pre-orders are due November 4th.
The She’s the First Tie-Dye Cupcake Bake-off is a national campaign that encourages students to sell cupcakes to fundraise for the sponsorships of girls who cannot afford an education at all. After the bake sale, Food for Thought will have the chance to communicate with the sponsored girls online and learn what life is like for them.
Food for Thought will be selling specially-made tie-dye cupcakes from Purity Ice Cream on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Campus Center:
November 1-2, 4, 6-7
She's the First is a not-for-profit organization that sponsors girls’ education in the developing world, helping them be the first in their families to graduate.
