“Adopt” a child this holiday season

The members of Ithaca College’s Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) are organizing a holiday gift-giving program for the students in the Maine-Endwell school district, which was affected by the recent flooding.

We are asking for your organization’s participation in “Holiday Hope for Maine-Endwell” by adopting a child (or two!). Adopting a child will entail providing that child with an outfit and at least one item from the child’s wish list. We will provide information about each child (ex: shirt size, pant size, wish list of music, book, toy, etc.). We encourage you to consider adopting an entire family, so please indicate the number of children you would be willing to adopt. We anticipate the cost per child to be no more than $60.

Gifts should be purchased and brought to the Office of Alumni Relations no later than noon on Friday, December 2, 2011 (take advantage of the “Black Friday” sales!)

If you would like to adopt a child, please contact Chloe Wilson at HolidayHopeforME@gmail.com

STAT is all about promoting spirit on our campus and the holiday season is a great time to share that spirit with others. We thank you in advance for your participation.  If you are interested in joining STAT, our meetings are held every Monday at 7 pm in the Ithaca Falls Room of the Campus Center.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Alex Jamison at ajamiso3@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
