Dr. Ezenwanebe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has a B.A in English Education from the university of Nigeria, Nsukka; two Master of Arts Degrees: in English Literature (Drama and Society in England) and in English Language (Nigerian English), and Ph. D in Drama and Society all from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Dr. Osita Ezenwanebe has written and produced six plays out of which five are published. She has over twenty-two papers in local and international journals, the latest being "Treading Subtly on Hazardous Ground" which deals with the dramatization of the Niger Delta crisis in Nigeria and is one of the latest publication of the International Federation of Theatre Research (IFTR) by Radopi, 2011. Her research interests include feminism and Nigerian theater; conflict resolution and stage performance; and the representation of women in African literature and drama. She is married with five children, four of whom are in college. Her publications are listed here.
