Each fall, weekday Admission programs showcase the Ithaca College experience to over 1,500 prospective students and family members. In an effort to better accommodate prospective students and families visiting campus for these major open house programs, O, U and N lots -- in front of Phillips Hall, adjacent to the Roy H. Park School of Communications, and the lot between the practice fields -- will be reserved for our guests from 5:00 a.m. until noon on Friday, November 11.
Faculty, staff and students who usually park in O, U or N Lot are asked to park in Y Lot, across Danby Road, in the Z lot, adjacent to Emerson Hall or in the M lot, adjacent to the Athletic & Event Center. We also suggest carpooling or taking advantage of TCAT service on Friday.
Continuous shuttle service to and from Y Lot, Z Lot, and the circular drive in front of Textor Hall will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on November 11. Please allow for extra time coming to and from campus on Friday.
We receive tremendously positive feedback from our guests about how welcome they feel while on campus. The willingness of our faculty and staff to forgo their usual parking spaces for these two important days make a very favorable first impression and we hope that our campus community will once again make this accommodation.
