Want to learn more about the cultures, histories and experiences of Native Americans? We have 2 sections for Spring 2011.

North American Indians will be taught by Hollie Kulago (Diné) who brings an extensive background in Native American Studies with her Ph.D. in multicultural education from Purdue University and her experiences as a Diné (Navajo) woman. The course covers a range of topics addressing the diversity of Native America, boarding schools, stereotypes, and revitalization of Native American cultures and nations. There will be two sections offered. However, the second section will not open up until the first one is filled, so keep checking Homer.
