Three student documentaries produced in Professor John Scott and Professor Steve Gordon’s Video Workshop classes in Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 will air on the Syracuse PBS affiliate, WCNY, on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 pm.
The featured films include:
“An Unknown Silence”
Dylan Mizner, Emily Murphy-Mullen, Heather Pusey
A portrait of an 8 year-old girl and the obstacles she and her family face as they try to overcome issues emanating from the girl’s diagnosis with verbal apraxia.

“Bound by Hope: One Family’s Story”
Lauren Brauchli, Anna Campbell, Lauren (River) Ferris
A film focusing on a four-year-old named Josh Scoble’s struggle with his rare disease, Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP). Although Josh faces extreme challenges every day of his life, he remains an extremely happy child.
