Find out Tuesday, December 6th, in Textor 103, where Ithaca College students Allie Goldsmith and Ava Carmeli will invite you to witness Israel’s occupation of Palestine through the eyes of prisoners.
Allie and Ava, who are students in the Politics seminar “Witnessing, War, Occupation and Displacement”, will present their short video about the recent prisoner exchange between Israel and Palestine, as well as the conditions for Palestinians imprisoned in Israel. Following the video they will facilitate a discussion.
As an introduction to their event, Allie and Ava also invite you to visit their visual display regarding the prisoner exchange in the IC academic quad Sunday through Tuesday. This display will address the relevance of international law to this topic.
