A Conversation with the Creators of "Illuminated Bodies"

Join us for a glimpse into the fascinating minds of the artists who created IC Theatre's "Illuminated Bodies" as they discuss their inspirations and the collaborative process they underwent in order to bring you the stunning show currently lighting up Dillingham Center. This free talkback event on Saturday, December 10th at approximately 3:30 p.m. will be held in Dillingham's Hoerner Theatre and will feature commentary from choreographers Amy Walker O’Brien and Lindsay Gilmour, composer Grant Carey, and designer Lawrence Moten. It will be moderated by dramaturgs Kristen Joyce '13 and Ben Shipley '13.

The main-stage dance concert is presented once every four years; "Illuminated Bodies" features four original pieces choreographed by Theatre Arts dance faculty Amy Walker O’Brien and Lindsay Gilmour. Performances will be held Dec. 8, 9 and 10 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 10 and 11 at 2 p.m. in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center. Ticket prices for “Illuminated Bodies” range from $5.50 to $11 and are on sale at all Ticket Center outlets, including Ticket Center Ithaca on the Commons and the Dillingham Center box office.
