The Sir Alexander Ewing-Ithaca College Speech Clinic is teaming up with the LGBT Office at Ithaca College and Planned Parenthood to offer a new program called Voice and Communication Modification Program for People in the Transgender Community.The Sir Alexander Ewing-Ithaca College Speech Clinic is teaming up with the LGBT Office at Ithaca College and Planned Parenthood to offer a new program called Voice and Communication Modification Program for People in the Transgender Community.
This program will focus on developing voice, articulation, language, non-verbal communication, self perception, and voice related quality of life, and is open to both male to female and female to male transgender people.
The group is free of charge for IC students, faculty, staff, and family of staff or faculty. A nominal fee will be charged for others interested in participating. Meetings will be held late Tuesday afternoons.
