The first candidate for the Dean of Health Sciences and Human Performance will be interviewing on campus February 1-2. The campus community is invited to an open presentation by Dr. Ming Li on Thursday Feb 2 from 4-5 in the Klingenstein Lounge in the Campus Center.
Dr. Ming Li is the Director of the School of Recreation and Sport Sciences at Ohio University and a Professor in Sports Administration. Before joining the faculty at Ohio University, he taught at Georgia Southern University for eleven years. During those years, he coordinated both the graduate and undergraduate sport management programs. Dr. Li’s teaching and research interests are in financial and economic aspects of sport, research methods in sport management, and international sport management.
In his public presentation, he will address his views on leading HSHP in the context of Ithaca College's IC20/20 strategic plan. There will be an opportunity for questions, and the presentation will be followed by an informal reception in Klingenstein. His complete c.v. will be posted online soon.
