During October 8-15, Ithaca College experienced its first Spirit Week! Join us in helping to make this new tradition even bigger and better for 2012! The Spirit Week Committee is currently seeking a Treasurer and an Organization Liaison. Position Descriptions and Responsibilities:
Treasurer: As Treasurer, you will be handling the finances of Spirit Week. This will include creating budgets to receive funds from the Student Government Association, in addition to other departments on campus. Our funds may be used for advertising purposes, t-shirts for volunteers, and allocations to organization events. Our budget will also be working closely with the Alumni Association.
Organization Liaison: In this role, you will be the main source of communication between the student organizations hosting events throughout Spirit Week, and the Spirit Week Committee. This is vital to assure that the organizations stay on task and are able to reach specific deadlines in order to have successful events. Similar to that of an event manager, this role is designed to work meet with the Spirit Week Committee and all organizations ("clients") that you are assigned.
