Gospel Music fills the Ithaca air this weekend as the Festival of Black Gospel turns 35!!

FBG35-- The 35th Annual Festival of Black Gospel is arriving! February 24-26th, join Ithaca College, Cornell University, and the Greater Ithaca Community for a weekend you won't forget!

Join us on Friday, Feb. 24 in Emerson Suites at 9pm for our kick-of event, The Spoken WORD, featuring poets and soloists from IC, Cornell, NYC, and an open mic opportunity!! Refreshments will be served!

The Ithaca Combined Choir (featuring IC's Amani Gospel Singers, Cornell's Chosen Generation, and Joyful Noize of Calvary Baptist Church) will be performing at the Saturday night concert, along with Provenance Music Group and The Muzik Boxxxx.  Special guest will be Grammy-nominated artist Kierra Sheard! The concert is free, but you must have a ticket to attend (you can email us at ithacafbg@gmail.com to reserve your tickets).

Want to be in the concert on the Saturday the 25th? Come out to Mass Choir rehearsal at Calvary Baptist Church (507 N. Albany St.). Rehearsal is from 10-12:30pm on the 25th. The concert is at 7pm.
