The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (March 25-April 1, 2012) is offering an early bird special on festival passes for its films and workshops at Cinemapolis: $20 for a five pass for students, available at the Ithaca College bookstore.
This year's festival theme is Microtopias.
Films from around the world, filmmakers, film industry insiders, workshops and audience discussion convene for nearly 40 screenings. Feature filmmakers include Shelley Niro (Canada/Mohawk) and Idrissou Mora Kpai (Benin), with more to be announced soon.
This year, FLEFF also features a special showcase of upstate New York film and video makers, curated by Ithaca College faculty members John Scott and Karen Rodriguez.
Festival passes are $20 for students until March 15--that's five films for four dollars each at the best art cinema multiplex in the country!
