Presenter: Shaianne Osterreich the Associate Director of Integrated Core Curriculum and Coordinator of the Ithaca Seminar program and current ICSM faculty members.
This workshop co-sponsored by the Center for Faculty Excellence and The Ithaca Seminar program will provide guidance to new Ithaca Seminar faculty on the required components of Ithaca Seminars. Each ICSM must meet the current guidelines for LA distribution and the existing H&S General Education program. In addition, we will ask everyone to indicate which Theme best fits your intended course. By the end of the session you should understand these different categories, how to build them into your course, and you should have a head start on the designation and proposal paperwork. In addition, we will cover traditional transition to college topics and provide information on successful activities and assignments from returning faculty.
