Grinnell, Iowa – The Ithaca women's track & field team will open competition at the two-day NCAA Indoor Championships, hosted by Grinnell, Friday. Four Ithaca athletes will be in action at the meet –seniors Emma Dewart and Jessica Hoeffner and juniors Jenn Randall and Amanda Rissmeyer.
Dewart is the defending national champion in the pentathlon and is the top seed for this year’s meet. She will also compete in the high jump where she is seeded seventh. Hoeffner is slated to compete in the weight throw, where she is ranked 12th. Randall will race in the mile run as the 13th seed and Rissmeyer will join Dewart in high jump competition as the 12th seed.
