Five members of the Ithaca women's swimming & diving team have earned qualification to the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, which will be held March 21-24 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind. Four swimmers and a diver will represent Ithaca in the championship meet. The Bombers have finished 21st or higher in each of the last four seasons.

Junior Carly Jones qualified in three individual events and with the 200-yard medley relay. She will compete in the 200- and 400-yard individual medley as well as the 200-yard breaststroke. Jones' time of 2:17.31 in the 200 breast is the top time in the nation this season and she is seeded first on the meet's official psych sheet.
Freshman Kyle Bangs will join Jones on the 200-yard medley relay and also compete in the 100-yard backstroke.
Jones and Bangs will be joined by junior Madi Sherry and sophomore Elizabeth Gawrys in the 200-yard medley relay competition. The Bombers are seeded 14th on the official psych sheet for the national championship meet.
Sophomore diver Korie Fackler will compete on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
