Reading from the newly published Autobiographic International Relations: I, IR, edited by Naeem Inayatullah, with essay by novelist Sorayya Khan

Naeem Inayatullah is professor of politics at Ithaca College, where he specializes in theory of international relations,  global political economy/development studies, history of economic thought , culture and identity in international political economy  and politics of pedagogy.  He is the author of Savage Economies: Wealth, Poverty and the Temporal Walls of Capitalism (2010) and International Relations and the Problem of Difference (2004) and editor of Interrogating Imperialism: Conversations on Gender, Race and War (2006) and Autobiographical International Relations:  I, IR (2011)

 

Sorayya Khan  is the author of the novels Noor (Penguin India,2004) and Five Queen’s Road (Penguin India, 2009).  She is the recipientof a Fulbright Award, Malahat Review Novella Prize, and Constance SaltonstallArtist Grant.  Her work has been published in several literary quarterliesand anthologies.

The 15th Annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival runs March 25-April 1, 2012, at Ithaca College and Cinemapolis, exploring the theme of Microtopias.
