Thursday, March 22, 7 p.m., in Textor 101, there will be a public screening and discussion of The Color of Fear, a film by renowned documentary filmmaker and diversity educator, Lee Mun Wah. Discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Belisa Gonzalez, sociology, and Dr. Sean Eversley Bradwell, of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity.
This film is widely known and used in school, campus, and community settings to foster learning and dialogue about issues of race and racism. This event is being offered as preparation for Lee Mun Wah coming to campus on April 5th to lead workshops and a public dialogue related to his new film, If These Halls Could Talk, which is about issues of diversity, race, and racism on college campuses.
Students interested in participating in the April 5th student workshop with Lee Mun Wah are strongly encouraged to attend this screening and discussion of The Color of Fear on Thursday, March 22 -- 7 p.m., Textor 101. They will be able to sign up for the April 5 workshop at this March 22 event.
