Journalism. Nonfiction writing. Interviews. Storytelling. The eloquence of the American worker. Learn about the man who spread all of these across the United States, and for the next two weeks to Ithaca College, this Sunday, April 1.

The dramaturgy program of the Department of Theatre Arts will present "An Afternoon with Studs" in the lobby of Dillingham Center, a free post-show presentation about Studs Terkel, the interviewer whose book "Working" inspired the musical of the same name, which premieres this week in the Clark Theatre, Dillingham Center.

Following the 2 pm matinee, Professor Chrystyna Dail will speak about the man who discovered poetry in the words of average Americans across the country. Afterwards an excerpt from a documentary and interviews with Ithaca College faculty and students will be screened.

If you have any questions or require special accomodations, please contact the dramaturgs, Lucy Waker and Amanda Sirois, at workingquestions@gmail.com.

For tickets to "Working" please call 607-274-3224 or 607-273-4497, go to Ithaca Events or visit the Dillingham ticket office.
