On Thursday, April 5th, at 7 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Lee Mun Wah, renowned documentary filmmaker, diversity educator, and group facilitator, will lecture, present film clips, and lead dialogue about issues of diversity, race/ethnicity, and racism on college campuses. This event is free and open to the public.
Lee Mun Wah's presentation will be based on his new film, If These Halls Could Talk, which is about a diverse group of college students brought together to discuss issues of diversity, race and racism on college campuses, and on his new book, Let's Get Real -- What People of Color Can't Say & Whites Won't Ask About Racism. One of his earlier films, The Color of Fear, is widely known and used in school, campus, and community settings to foster learning about and discussion of issues of race and racism.
