The Most Holy Week of the Year

03/31/12

With the retelling of the story of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and with a procession carrying palm branches into the sanctuary of Muller Chapel, the Ithaca College Catholic Community begins the celebration of Holy Week.

April 1 is Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion.  We recall Jesus riding on a colt into the City of David amid the hosanna cries of praise.  And we remember that five days later Jesus was arrested, tortured, and nailed to a cross to die!

Please join the community as we celebrate the Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion at 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  All are welcome.

And join in the celebration of the Sacred Paschal Triduum.  Come to the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper at 5:30 PM, Good Friday of the Lord's Passion at 3:00 PM, Saturday evening Easter Vigil Mass at 7:30 PM, and Easter Sunday Mass of the Resurrection (in Emerson Suites) at 11:00 AM.  All are welcome!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Carsten Martensen at cmartensen@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3184. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
