April is LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) Awareness Month.
The Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services -- in collaboration with a variety of campus student groups, departments, offices, and community partners -- will host events and learning opportunities focusing on LGBT themes throughout the month.
This year there are many opportunities to learn about and celebrate the unique contributions and experiences of LGBT and Allied people. Upcoming highlights include guest speakers, original student-written stage productions, film screenings, facilitated discussions, and much more.
Many organizations, groups, departments and individuals have planned LGBT-themed happenings this month. Access up-to-the-minute listing and details, or see the ad in this week's Ithacan.
Additional events continue to be planned by a variety of campus groups and departments, and will be added when details are confirmed.
