Have you majored in an education related field or taken some education courses to enhance your program of study, and are you wondering how you might pursue meaningful work and make a difference outside of schools and classrooms? Then this workshop might be for you. Open to all majors and class years.

You might be surprised to learn that many students with an interest in education pursue meaningful careers outside of teaching. Students with backgrounds in education learn and develop a variety of skills that are sought out by employers, and you might not have realized all the possibilities for using these skills in community-based settings or other professions.

Come to this workshop to learn about transferable skills, alternative career paths of students in education related majors, strategies to market your skills to different organizations, and how to engage in a successful search for meaningful internships and jobs.
