Join us this Saturday, 4/7/12, at 3pm for an American Chestnut planting workday!
To assist in research on American Chestnut reintroduction, we need volunteers this weekend to help plant Chestnut saplings. They have spent the winter in a coldframe, and are now ready to be released into the wild ecosystem of South Hill Natural Area! This is a great chance to learn about ecological restoration, botany and genetics, spend some time outside and get your hands dirty. We will meet at the ICNL kiosk behind Terrace 10.
