Monday 4/16: Hemp Fest (Academic Quad) 12-3PM
Come see and sample the wide array of hemp products offered by local stores! You will also have the opportunity to make your very own hemp bracelet!
Tuesday 4/17: "Standing Silent Nation" Screening and Discussion (Textor 101) 8-10PM
Come watch "Standing Silent Nation", a one hour documentary about the Lakota people's struggle to secure economic dependence for themselves by growing industrial hemp on their reservations. Then stay for a discussion on Native Americans and industrial hemp with Brooke Hansen, Ithaca College's Coordinator for Native American Studies.
Wednesday 4/18: "Bringing It Home" Pre-Reel Screening and Presentations From Special Guests (Textor 101) 8-10PM
Join us for a pre-reel screening of "Bringing It Home", a documentary in the works about the global hemp industry, hemp construction, and bringing hemp farming back to the USA. We will also have presentations from Dr. Anil Netravali of Cornell University on the uses of hemp fiber, and David Bronner, President of Dr. Bronner's Magic All-One.
