Spit That! is back with their annual Spring semester poetry showcase! We've been working hard all semester to bring you this once in a lifetime experience, and you know we never disappoint.

This year, we are exploring "The Duality of Poetry" with spoken word duo Fire and Rain. Spit That! and Fire and Rain will be delivering dynamic performances that will make you laugh, cry, think, love, and most importantly feel inspired. These pieces will have your feet stomping and fingers snappin'. So loosen up and get in the mood for some slam!

Fire and Rain is a spoken word and poetry slam duo formed by the collaboration between Joaquin Zihuatanejo and Natasha Carrizosa. Both are champion competitive slam poets whose both solo and collaborative works have been widely successful. One highlight of their career is having had the honor of representing the United States in the El Projecto Poesia Slam 2010 in Madrid, Spain.

We will be raffling off t-shirts, movie tickets, pounds of coffee, and more at the event!

Check us out on Facebook for more showcase updates!
