On behalf of the Tuba/Euphonium studio and Dr. Aaron Tindall, thank you to the Ithaca College community for your contributions to the Gregory Mantone Memorial campaign. To date, close to $2,000 has been raised - an excellent start toward the goal of $5,000. There is still a ways to go to meet this goal before the May 31st time frame, and any donation, even $5-$10, is greatly appreciated.
If you have not donated yet, please consider one of the following options:
1. Make a donation online at: http://www.icalumni.net/s/369/index.aspx?sid=369&gid=1&pgid=1059&content_id=616
Utilizing this process will allow the college to keep a list of those who have donated. Gregory's family will be provided a list of those who made the memorial possible and it also provides the information the college needs to provide tax receipts to those who donate.
2. Bring your cash or check donation (checks made payable to Ithaca College) to Julie Ruocco in the music office. Donations can be made between the hours of 9 and 4.
3. Consider asking others to support this great cause.
School of Music student Nicole Kukieza has been facilitating the fundraising efforts. She recently said, "I think it is important to remember the reason we are holding this fundraiser. It is to remember one of the happiest, most kind hearted students the School of Music had the privilege of knowing, Gregory Mantone. Greg gave so much to the School of Music, and we owe him our best efforts in creating a permanent memorial by which to remember him."
Once again, the Tuba/Euphonium studio thanks you for your donations and generosity. We hope to see you on May 2nd!
