Student Organization In Need of an Adviser

A few dedicated students have been working diligently to bring a subsection of the group Project Sunshine here to campus and are currently searching for a faculty adviser.

This subsection, Project Knit, gives knitters the opportunity to help children and families affected by medical challenges by:

making blankets, hats, gloves and scarves from preemie to teen sizes that can be donated to a hospital,

volunteering to teach knitting in hospitals to children and families as a way to relieve their stress

and throwing fundraising events to help with other Project Sunshine projects.
