Good Manners, Great Comedies

05/06/12

Contributed by Greg Bostwick

The students in the Styles of Acting II class invite you to watch scenes from some of the greatest comedies of the last 117 years.

You will see scenes from The Importance of Being Earnest (1895), Pygmalion (1912), Private Lives (1930) and Present Laughter (1939).  These entertaining and thought provoking works set the standard for many subsequent comedies of manners.

Mark Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. on your calendar and come to the Clark Theater of Dillingham Center. The program is free and should last about one hour.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3345. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
