IC has two Fulbright winners

Two Ithaca College students have been awarded Fulbright scholarships for study and teaching abroad, and another has been given alternate status.

Katerina Leinhart (Politics 2011) has been awarded a research grant to Morocco, where she will study the transformation of Gnawa sacred music from ritual to market contexts. Emily Brown (English 2012), has has been awarded an English Teaching Assistantship to Slovakia, where she will assist in an English language classroom. In addition, Ranu Nath (Politics 2012) has been named as an alternate for an English Teaching Assistantship to Turkey.
