HSHP Exercise and Sport Sciences & Health Promotion and Physical Education Faculty Presentations

Faculty from HSHP's Exercise and Sport Sciences and Health Promotion and Physical Education programs have been busy presenting in May and June.

Amy Frith (HPPE), Miranda Kaye (ESS), and Justine Vosloo (ESS) teamed up to give a poster presentation entitled "Mother and Child Achievement Goals Influence on Young Female Swimmer Eating Style" at the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity's 2012 Annual Meeting on May 23-26 in Austin, Texas.

Gary Sforzo (ESS) and Miranda Kaye (ESS) co-presented a poster entitled "Free Choice Access to Multi-Point Wellness Education and Related Services Positively Impact Employee Wellness", at the American College of Sports Medicine's Annual Meeting on May 29-June 2 in San Francisco, California.

Miranda Kaye (ESS) and Justine Vosloo (ESS) both presented at the North American Society for Sport and Physical Activity Annual Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 7-9. Topics focused on youth sports: "Emotional Transitions in Youth Swimmers and Their Parents" and "Parental Perceptions of Little League Coaches and the Impact on Intentions for Future Participation".
