We are currently holding all packages that arrive. If you are in our system on August 6th as living on campus for the Fall 2012 semester or if you are currently a “hold at Phillips Hall” summer student, you will receive an email notifying you that a package has arrived and where to pick it up. It is important that you read the body of the email. During this time in the semester we keep small and large packages at the Mail Center. Last year during the first 6 weeks of the semester we received over 18,500 packages for students.
Circle Apartment residents: We will begin holding all letter mail and magazines on August 13th. We will resume sorting mail into the Community Center mail boxes on Monday August 20, 2012. Squatters will continue to have all mail sorted into their mail boxes.
New and returning on-campus residents (not Circle Apartments): Beginning August 13th, we will hold all letter mail and magazines for you at the Mail Center. We will begin to sort this mail into mail boxes around August 23nd. If you are returning to campus early, you can come to the Mail Center to check for mail that has arrived.
Off-campus students should provide their local address to the Registrar’s office. Mail Services does not hold mail or packages for off-campus students. These items are sent to your permanent address, a local address or returned to the sender depending on the courier that delivered it.
We plan to open the mail rooms on Monday August 27th.

Add icmailservice@ithaca.edu to your address book with your email client. Last semester it was discovered that the package notifications were being placed in the SPAM folder when students had their Ithaca College email forwarded to gmail and other email accounts and were unaware that a package had arrived.
The Phillips Hall Post Office and the Mail Center will be open on Saturday August 25th from 10:30am – 4:45pm, Sunday August 26th from 10:30am – 4:45pm and Saturday September 1st from 10:30am – 4:45pm.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Mail Services at (607) 274-3371. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
