Associate Professor Paul Geisler (ESS) Presented With National Athletic Training Award

Paul R. Geisler, Ed.D., ATC, associate professor and director of athletic training education, was awarded the 2012 Athletic Trainer Service Award by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).

The Athletic Trainer Service Award recognizes members of NATA who have demonstrated a strong commitment to their national and local associations and affiliated professional endeavors for a minimum 15 year period of membership.

The award was presented at the 2012 NATA Annual Meeting which was held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 28th.

During NATA associate professor Geisler also presented a session entitled "Evaluating the integration of clinical reasoning and evidence based medicine decision making in undergraduate athletic training students."
