COURSE DESCRIPTION

This experiential, one-credit weekend seminar will introduce students to Playback Theatre. Students will awaken senses, emotions, and body awareness, practice listening, and learn the fundamentals of Playback Theatre. Playback Theatre is created through a unique collaboration between performers and audience. It involves someone telling a story or about a moment from their life. They then choose actors to play the different roles and then watch as their story is immediately recreated and given artistic shape and coherence.playbacknet.org
