Did you play an instrument before coming to IC and are now looking for music making opportunities? Sinfonietta is a symphony orchestra open to students of all majors from across campus who play an orchestral instrument - strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. No audition is necessary! (Graduate students and faculty/staff are also welcome to join.)

Sinfonietta performs great music and gives a public concert each semester. Last year, we performed pieces by Mussorgsky, Copland, Saint-Saens, Grieg, and others. We rehearse Mondays from 6:00-7:50pm and you can sign-up for 0, .5, or 1 credit - whatever fits your schedule best. Enroll Now!(MUNM 10304).

If you would like more information about joining, please attend our short informational meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 7:00pm in the Hockett Recital Hall (Whalen Center #3105).
