If you like singing and being a part of a large group, join the Ithaca College- Longview Intergenerational Choir!
The Ithaca College-Longview Intergenerational Choir is a collaborative ensemble comprised of Ithaca College students and the residents of Longview, an Ithacare Community. A collaboration between the Gerontology Institute and the School of Music, Dr. Emily Mason serves as the conductor of the ensemble. The choir rehearses each Tuesday from 7-8pm at Longview. Transportation is also provided to and from rehearsals! In addition, the choir presents two concerts each semester that includes music from a variety of styles.
If you are interested in joining come to the Informational meeting tomorrow, Thurs. 9/6 in Whalen 1207 from 7-7:45pm. There will be FREE FOOD!!!! Questions should be directed to Dr. Mason at emason@ithaca.edu. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, Sept. 11th!!!
