The School of Business is pleased to welcome alumnus Michael Ungvary ‘87, President of Business Development, East Region, for Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions, on September 24, at 7 p.m. in Business 111.
Mr. Ungvary’s discussion, Health Care: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and what to do about it?, will get attendees thinking about the current situation, potential solutions, and potential unintended consequences.

At Aetna, Mike leads a team that collaborates with health care providers to design and implement new models of health care delivery to deliver value and improve quality for consumers.
Mike has been with Aetna for over 20 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility in multiple functional areas. He has held positions with PARTNERS (a joint venture between Aetna and Voluntary Hospitals of America) National Accounts, and Network Operations during his career. Most recently, he served as Region Head of Medicare, with P&L responsibility for Aetna’s suite of Medicare products across a 9 State Region and enrollment of over 100,000 members and $1B in revenue.
While at Ithaca, Mike was a member of the Swimming and Diving Team and the President’s Host Committee and the Bureau of Concerts. He counts among his longest and closest friends those he made during his time at Ithaca.
This event is open to all Ithaca College students.
