October 15 is the tenth annual observance of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD).
NLAAD is a national community mobilization and social marketing campaign that unites the
Hispanic/Latino community in efforts to raise HIV awareness, promotion of HIV testing, prevention and education. It was established to draw attention to the critical role HIV testing and prevention education plays in stemming the spread of HIV/AIDS. This year's theme is “Hispanics United to End AIDS! Get tested for HIV.”
For resources and information, visit the National Latino AIDS Awareness Day website. HIV/AIDS resources are also available for the campus community.
