Come learn about the permaculture gardens and how to get involved while enjoying some light refreshments made from our harvest.
Ithaca College Permaculture Garden will host its First Season Celebration from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, October 5 at the Permaculture Garden (next to Williams Hall). After a hard-working summer of mulching, planting and caring for the garden, the group will celebrate its first season on campus.
Come visit to learn about the gardens, including the edible plants and medicinal herbs, and how to get involved with harvesting, gardening, promotion, class registration, community opportunities and more! This is the perfect chance to meet the gardens and the individuals who worked hard this summer to make them come to life this fall season. Light refreshments made from the first harvest will also be provided.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Madison Vander Hill at mvander1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
