Since 1961, the Peace Corps has shared with the world America's most precious resource:  its people.  Corps members serve in 76 countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, the Pacific Islands and the Middle East.

Peace Corps Volunteers live, learn, and work with a community overseas for 27 months, providing technical assistance in six program areas: education, youth and community development, health, business and information and communications technology, agriculture, and environment.

Coming from all walks of life and representing the rich diversity of the American people, volunteers bring their skills and life experiences to where they are needed most. Peace Corps volunteers receive financial and medical benefit packages.

All majors are welcome to apply and applications should be submitted a year in advance of availability date.  Students studying public & community health, education, French, Spanish, environmental science/studies, sociology and business majors are encouraged to apply.

Learn more from the Peace Corps recruiter during an Information Session on Tuesday, October 30 in Career Services at 12:10pm. Reserve your seat for this information session using your eRecruiting account.  Reservations are only possible through midnight October 29, however walk-ins will be invited to participate on a space-available basis.
