Join us in Muller Chapel, Saturday, November 3rd, from 12 until 2pm
Many students, staff and faculty have family members and friends who have been affected significantly by the hurricane this past week. Many have lost their homes and places of work, and many communities have been devastated. The Chapel will be hosting an open time for reflection and prayer for the campus community on Saturday, November 3rd, from 12 until 2pm.
The Chapel sanctuary will be available for those wishing to be with others in quiet reflection. Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) staff and Chaplains will be present for those who would like to share. As a way to symbolize community support, we will have a prayer bowl to hold any positive messages and wishes for the many family, friends, and others who are suffering as a result of the hurricane.
The Chapel is hosting several services for the community during this Family Weekend. Please consult the Family Weekend schedule for times to join with others during these services (https://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/familyweekend/). The Chapel is also open for much of the weekend for individual silent prayer.
For those needing additional sources of support, please speak with your RA, RD, Chaplain, or contact Counseling & Psychological Services (607-274-3136; ithaca.edu/sacl/counseling).
