This is an interactive dance with members of the Allegeny River Dancers and the Ganondagan Young Spirit Dancers. Also, Chief Jake Edwards of Onondaga Nation will speak about the 400th anniversary of the Two Row Wampum Treaty between the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Dutch settlers.
This is the premier event of Native American Heritage Month at Ithaca College. It will be held in Emerson Suites at 7 pm on Thursday, November 8. It is sponsored by the Ithaca College Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs, Native American Studies Program, and the Department of Anthropology. Free and open to the public.
