The HSHP Student Board of Advocates (representing all clubs in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance) is hosting a non-perishable food/toiletry drive titled “Salvation for Sandy” for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
As you may know, there are many students currently at Ithaca College whose families have been affected by this terrible disaster. We would like to do our part in showing support for families who have lost nearly everything.
There are boxes labeled “Salvation for Sandy” located at the CHS Coffee Cart in the Atrium Lobby, in the HSHP Department Offices located in the Center for Health Sciences, Hill Center, Smiddy Hall and the HSHP Dean’s Suite, 320 Smiddy Hall.
All donated items will be taken to Long Beach, Long Island, New York over Thanksgiving Break. This drive in currently in progress and will go until November 15, 2012.
