Election Day is over...

... and the votes so far have been tallied. More than 100 members of our campus community have elected to support the United Way campaign so far! As of November 7th - with only 6% of our campus community returning their pledge forms to date - we have already hit 48% of our campus fundraising goal for this year, with $30,992 committed! We are gratified that 14 of the 102 “early responders” are first time donors!

Team IC is poised for a landslide victory!

We still want to hear from the remaining 94% of our campus “precincts”. If you haven’t yet opened and reviewed your United Way pledge packet, please take a few moments to do so. Giving is simple – you can simply return your pledge form with a donation of cash, or enclose a personal check.  Or you can give a donation via your credit card, giving a one-time lump sum donation or by spreading out your credit card payments however it best fits your household budget.

For IC employees, the simplest way of all to donate to United Way is to set up a payroll deduction scheme. If you’ve never given before, this year, please consider donating just $1 each pay period – that would equal a nice $26 gift spread out over 26 pay periods next year. And your payroll deductions don’t even START until after the holidays, with the first payroll in mid-January. How painless is that??

So, what will YOU elect to do this year? Please submit your “vote” of support for the United Way before the end of November!

Thanks!
