Submission deadlines for short-term, faculty-led courses to be taught abroad in 2013-14 are approaching. Any faculty member interested in leading such a course abroad during the winter session of 2014, spring break 2014, or summer 2014 is encouraged to be in touch with the Office of International Programs to begin discussing ideas for such programs.
Proposal process
The first step in proposing to travel abroad with students is to complete our online intent form. This gives the Office of International Programs (OIP) an idea of what you have in mind, and will allow us to begin the preliminary work of assisting you in designing a viable program.
The next step is the full proposal form, That should be submitted along with a budget breakdown of the program, using the Excel spreadsheet template.
Proposal submission deadlines
We are transitioning to a new schedule of proposal deadlines for the next academic year. For programs being run in 2013-14 and thereafter, the intent form is due 15 months prior to program implementation, and the full proposal is due 12 months prior to program implementation.
