Last year, the Summer Music Academy provided a quality summer music experience to over 320 students from 22 states and four countries. The program employed over 100 faculty and staff, including 30 current IC faculty members, 34 School of Music alumni, and 21 current IC students.
Programming consists of band, orchestra, voice, guitar, and jazz programs and is divided between two age-specific divisions. The High School Division (grades 10-12) takes place from July 14–27, and the Intermediate Division (grades 5-9) takes place from July 28–August 3. More information about SMA can be found here.
