Assistant Professor Christopher House has authored a book chapter to be included in a 2013 anthology titled Voicing the Voiceless (Re)Shaping Social Norms in Women's Healthcare.
His chapter focuses on the voices of black diasporic clergywomen and female church leadership in the battle against HIV/AIDS.
Dr. House came to Ithaca College through the Predoctoral Diversity Fellowship Program in 2011-12. He successfully defended his dissertation at the University of Pittsburgh while part of IC's Department of Communication Studies. He teaches public communication, culture and communication, and courses on African American rhetoric and continues to contribute to the interdisciplinary research on religion, health, and rhetorical theory.
Congratulations, Chris, on your latest success.
