You’re doing service, making a difference in communities across the United States and beyond – it’s time you received recognition for your efforts!
The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) would like to encourage individual students and registered student organizations to acknowledge this dedication to service by applying for The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)
The PVSA is among the highest recognitions for groups and individuals who perform exemplary levels of direct community service on an annual basis. Recipients receive an official certified letter of achievement, a congratulatory letter, and the official PVSA pin from the President of the United States.
Students are encouraged to contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu for criteria on how to nominate themselves, or a student org with which they are affiliated, BEFORE APRIL 15, 2013.
PVSA recipients will be acknowledged at the OSEMA Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 29.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
