Ithaca College’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity is bringing events to campus in an effort raise awareness, action, discussion about homelessness.
The events for this week will be:
Members of The Jungle speak on Homelessness in Ithaca
Monday, April 1st in CNS 112 at 6:30pm
Former residents of the Jungle are coming to Ithaca to spread awareness and education about homelessness in this panel discussion.
Carmen Guidi, the man who raised money to find homes for the former residents of the Jungle, will be coming to share his story. Come to find out how you can be a part of getting rid of the stigma around homelessness.

Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert
Be a part of restoring the shore and win prizes!
Wednesday, April 3rd 7pm in IC Square
Habitat for Humanity and Love Knows No Bounds present a night of free food, prizes, performances, and more!
Be in IC Square on Wednesday to hear Premium Blend, VoiceStream, Pulse, IC Comedy Club and Ithacappella perform and raise money toward restoring the damage sought by Hurricane Sandy. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to restoration projects in the Bergen County Greater Plainfield area.
